Adware Generic4.AFHO RegistryEasy_Setup003.exe When I have time I like to test out some of these new applications that seem to popup from time to time. This one never made it to the test station because they didn't have documentation. Lucky for me I follow a process before installing software and this didn't make the grade. About about 6 to 8 months later AVG found this to be Adware which was confirmed.

Lucky for me I follow a process before installing software and this didn't make the grade. About a month later AVG found this to be Adware which was confirmed.

AVG found this application had adware built inside it.

The FYI is that this file has been on the hard drive for about 6 to 8 months without detection. Not all virus signatures are in every application.

Just be very careful. Adware isn't as bad as Fake messenger rootkits that do not allow browsing the drive for document recovery.

No other information other than I hope you didn't install this application.

It would have been a good tiem to test your backup and recovery software.
