You have your favorite smartphone, tablet, mobile device. Now you start loading it up with all the apps you think will help you conduct your day to day business with.

Designing your mobile office.

Make a list of what you feel you need to conduct business. Work from a simple notepad or from a word document. Be sure to include everything you work with during the day.

What type of mobile office do you need?

  • Do you plan your day using a calendar app or daily planner?
  • Do you send emails or monitor your inbox?
  • Do you need to upload files, images, documents?
  • Do you need to share files and folders?
  • Do you need to update more than one device? (Tablet, PC, Laptop)

One test I'll be running, "Making your tablet work for you".

At first my tablet was used for games... Zombie games and driving games.

After about 2 days I started looking around for apps.

Then I was back on the games.

Seems to be a limited selection of apps for business.

I started to second guess the industry. Why would  they talk the end of PCs when mobile has nothing to offer as the pc world did?

Anyway, back to the zombie games...

Wait a minute, I think I have an idea. I'll be posting how I use my tablet daily and will take my network tools online with my tablet.

Let's see if the mobile device world offers more than a talking palm.

This post was made from my Onda v972 via wireless pirate radio. Took a bit longer to post due to peck tapping the keys.

Upstart business journey has a starting page I think I will read.
