Remote Desktop, Working Remotely Network Camp
Let me introduce myself so you have a name to use when you curse the living daylights out of the person that setup your remote desktop connection.
I'm Murray, now let's get down to business.
I’ve seen many different ways of connecting remotely to a computer via the internet. Some are fine in my book while others I have to ask “What in the world are you thinking?”
I have a few topics to cover in the remote desktop workforce realm.
- Working in a collaborated environment.
- Working in a single remote desktop environment.
- Working in a virtual desktop environment.
- Working remotely with a system you have no clue how it works you just installed software and it connects.
The articles published here are my own work and from my testing and experience. I’ll reference any and all material from others which I hope to have hundreds of documents related to best practices before I wrap this section up.
The objective here is to help you set standards and best practices. Process and procedures as much as you might hate SOP you might need to actually create one a few so you can control and audit your systems.
Let the fun working remotely begin!
