  1. Outlook is using an old copy of your Outlook data file (.ost).
Exit Outlook, delete the file, and restart Outlook.

Tech Note: Repairing PST files, scanpst.exe is the Microsoft repair tool.
Here's the link to cover your version of Outlook from Microsoft. If you can't find the scanpst.exe be sure you have a PST file to start with.

DO NOT use any scan and fix app for your OST files. Oh My Gosh No! Why on earth would you pay or download software to repair "Cached" information. Just delete the file, Exchange server will rebuild it for you. Best of all, Exchange will do it free and doesn't require special software to "Right Click, Delete".

How to unhide or view hidden files on Windows XP , Windows 7 and Windows 8.

You can change this to view all hidden files and folders for your whole computer or just in the areas you need to work. If you need to change the way files are viewed for your system this is done within the control panel, Appearance and Personaliztion (If not viewing in Category mode). Click Folder Options, View tab, Advanced settings under Files and Folders, under Hidden files and folders seletct "Show hidden files and folders."

MAIL_32bit _Control _Panel

But, I recommond that you only change the folders and files you are working with. This keeps the chances you'll have problems later down a bit. Not sure if you have had little Billy delete your system32 folder but he might try.
