You knew it was only a matter of time before some Technician or Programmer created a feature to allow you to post your Favorite SideWiki comment in a Hall of Fame invironment.

I figured Why Not do it here at XtremeComputer.Com first!

Below are comments made to the SideWiki Toolbar that have been voted on by visitors and members of XtremeComputer.Com. Our API repost has gathered up the comments and placed them here to say "Great Job" from our readers and visitors.

TeamViewer Needs more Testing.

Remote Access isn't something you just want to jump into because it's easy.

You need to know how the connection is made and how it is secured.

Having a session controlled by a server makes the weak link the server.
As I posted in CNet Reviews during my 3rd test I watched as two outside connections entered into the same TeamViewer Session on the same Ports.

Now the question is have you setup a firewall that will block TeamViewer?
If not you should then you can allow the connection for the duration of the remote call and close out the session blocking the TeamViewer application.

Read More and if you would like to test with me I'll setup the same systems and let you be the judge.

Going beyond Monitoring. API for Hall of Fame!

This post here is looking for website owners or webmasters that need to control or monitor webpages for SideWiki comments.

http://www.webproworld.com/web-programming-discussion-forum/92857-sidewiki-comment-monitor-api.html

Now I've been setting up a new API to vote for your favorite SideWiki comment from any site in the world.

Feel free to browse on over and give it a try.
The Hall of Fame and Hall of Shame are set in Beta at this time but after a few hundred votes and posts I'll be letting it go on a wider scale.

You can also view the sites being monitored from this page or at least find a link to the RSS feed. http://www.xtremecomputer.com/addnew10.asp
SideWiki is really cool if you ask me. Maybe it's because I don't mind public comments on the sides of my pages.

SideWiki Hall of Fame and Shame.

Helpful information about "http://www.xtremecomputer.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=240".

When you get into SideWiki you really can start seeing positive ways of using the information to get the word out.
Google has the vote Yes or No if the information was helpful which is good.

But if I remember Internet Users like to see from time to time really Great Comments and Really Bad Comments.

If you would like to vote for Hall of Fame comments visit the forum post linked above to read what you need to do. It's simple to do.

The SideWiki API development continues and if you see any errors or have suggestions feel free to leave me a SideWiki or Send a Suggestion.

Where is FAQ?

I'm a journalist working on a story on Google Sidewiki, but am finding it very difficult to get questions answered.

How are posts ranked (beyond the owner post)? How are they updated / deleted? Do business owners have a chance to respond to unfair posts about their company?

I'd like to see a good FAQ is needed, as well as more detailed information on Sidewiki.
