While setting up a Windows 2000 Server (Yes, it's old but for security training) I wanted to run the old stt3401a Seagate Tape Drive that came with Yosimite Backup software.
Couldn't find the disk so I looked over at Seagate for the drivers. Nothing listed. Searched Google and found others looking for the same.
Because a piece of hardware is old many manufacturers sell it out and then it's impossible to find the drivers. Even old ones. I'll be setting up a few zips to download the drivers that will run on NT. Not sure if XP, Vista, W7 will be included but 2K will be.
BestDrv . com had something listed but every file download is the same so I'm guessing it's one of those classical driver update applications which I don't need.
Drivers are part of the hardware and are not a restricted item when it comes to sharing or making copies.
I'll load the disk so you can get your old drive working.
