Search Engine Bots to track your SideWiki by Google Comments.

If you are a web developer or programmer this tip might help you track your SideWiki by Google Comments.

When a visitor hits a page in your website and leaves a comment you might not know about that comment because of the way Google has the API feed setup to view comments posted.

What I setup here was a simple Search Engine Bot follower that allows me to use Search Spiders as if they were a human viewing the comments.

It seems to work very well in that I am notified when a Bot hits a page with a new comment post.

If you have been trying to figure out a simple method of reporting and this seems to work drop me a note and share what you have been setting up.

You don't have to show your code unless you need help debugging it.
